Cup and lid system

Specify the complete set, not the cup alone

Most service failures come from mismatched components. Treat the cup or bowl, lid, sleeve and carrier as one tested system.

01

Capacity and brim

Confirm usable fill volume, brim diameter, headspace and the exact lid code for every size.

02

Hot or cold service

Match wall construction, coating and condensation resistance to drink temperature and holding time.

03

Range control

Reduce similar-looking sizes and label cartons clearly so stores do not mix incompatible components.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What cup sizes do you offer?
We stock 4oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz and 24oz cups. Custom sizes are available upon request. Each size can be custom printed with your brand.
Do double-wall cups really keep drinks hotter?
Yes. The air gap between inner and outer walls insulates beverages, keeping drinks hot 20–30% longer while protecting hands from burns.
Can I match cup and sleeve designs?
Absolutely. We produce matching cup and sleeve sets with coordinated branding — same colors, same design language, same print quality.
What is the MOQ for custom printed cups?
Custom printed cups start at 5,000 pcs per size/design. Stock (unprinted) cups are available from 500 pcs. Volume pricing applies.

Build a Reliable Cup and Bowl System

Cups and bowls should be specified as a complete system rather than isolated containers. Capacity, rim diameter, lid fit, temperature and filling process all affect service speed, leak resistance and the customer experience.

Choose by Product Temperature

Hot coffee, chilled drinks, soup, salad and frozen dessert place different demands on paper, plastic and barrier layers. Tell us the expected fill temperature and holding time. This helps determine cup construction, wall format and whether condensation or heat transfer needs extra control.

Standardize Rims and Lids

Using a smaller family of rim diameters can reduce lid inventory and simplify work at busy counters. Lid material and opening style should suit the drink or meal, while the fit must remain secure after filling. We check the cup, lid and sealing process together before production.

Plan Decoration Around Use

Logos and messages should remain visible when a sleeve, lid or customer hand covers part of the cup. Full-wrap artwork, spot-color printing and label areas each have different cost and visual effects. Dieline review prevents important content from falling on seams or tapered distortion zones.

Cup Construction and Functional Details

Single-wall paper cups are efficient for many cold beverages and short-service hot drinks. Double-wall and ripple-wall structures add insulation and can reduce the need for a separate sleeve. Paper bowls can be designed for soup, noodles, rice, salad or dessert, with board weight and coating chosen around moisture, oil and contact time.

Lids are available in paper or selected plastic formats, including sip lids, flat lids, dome lids and vented bowl lids. The best option depends on product visibility, stacking, delivery and local material preferences. For recurring programs, we recommend testing filled samples at the intended temperature and checking lid retention after transport.

Compatibility testing is essential because small changes in rim formation, lid material or storage temperature can affect fit. Fill sample cups to the normal level, apply lids using the same motion as store staff, and check for lifting after squeezing, stacking and transport. Hot-cup trials should include hand comfort and seam performance; cold-cup trials should include ice, condensation and the longest likely service time. Bowls should be checked for base stability and lid security with the actual soup or meal. Once the set is approved, document cup capacity, brim diameter, wall construction, coating, lid code and carton labeling. This gives purchasing and store teams a clear matched system and reduces the risk of mixing components that look similar but do not perform together.

Information for a Faster Cup Quote

Capacity alone is not enough to define a cup. Share the product, filling conditions, preferred lid and artwork so we can recommend a matched set and avoid fit problems during service.
